Kahili Creations Etailer Review

I mentioned on the forums that my husband surprised me by buying me something at the end of September – unfortunately with the posts for Breast Cancer Awareness month I haven’t gotten around to telling you more about it until now.

Jeff bought the Lilo 2 necklace (similar to the Lilo 3 necklace, $22.50) from Kahili Creations, and I absolutely love it!

The custom made leaf box that accompanied the neckace is just as beautiful as the necklace.

I still keep the necklace in the box because I think the box is so pretty.

Shipping was fast, especially since the package shipped from Hawaii, and Jeff was just as pleased with the ease of the Etsy transaction as I was with the necklace.

I would definitely recommend purchasing from Kahili Creations, and I’d be pleased to receive more of their jewelry.

Mollycoddle Soap Interview

It’s been a while since we’ve had an etailer interview, so it’s great that Kelly from Mollycoddle Soap has agreed to be interviewed.

Kelly makes a wide variety of fun soaps – as soon as I saw the Lump O’ Coal Soap I called my mother-in-law to tell her about it, because she’s always looking for coal to give to her nieces for Christmas.

I also love the Denture Soap, and the Hot Dog and Bun Soap – with your choice of ketchup or mustard.

1. Tell us a little bit about Mollycoddle Soap.

Mollycoddle (which means to pamper yourself) Soap began when I was experimenting with glycerin soap making. I made gifts for friends and family after which I kept getting requests for them. I began selling them at craft shows and on Etsy and it’s grown from there!

2. Your tagline is “Soap Up Your Imagination,” how you have a wide variety of food, gemstone, and gag gift soaps. How did you decide to focus on nontraditional soaps?

I’ve got a quirky sense of humor and began the food soaps and false teeth soaps to leave in friends bathrooms to mystify them. Everyone got such a kick out of them that I realized I wasn’t the only one who enjoyed novelty soaps. I get a lot of requests for quirky soaps and I love experimenting to make them look as realistic as possible to the food or object I’m replicating.

3. What are your best selling soaps?

My best selling soaps are the dentures, the pickle, waffles and doughnuts. I have new creepy baby head soaps I’ve been selling on Etsy at mollycoddlesoap.etsy.com that I will soon add to the MollycoddleSoap.com lineup that are becoming very popular as well.

Thanks so much! and have a great holiday!

Thank you so much for agreeing to be interviewed Kelly, and Happy Holidays!

Put the lime in the coconut - Palm Tree Pendant from Sophisticated Fun 28

As the first flakes of the day twinkle and shine like silver in the sunlight – I start wishing I was somewhere a little more tropical.

Ok, I really didn’t wish I was somewhere else until I saw this gorgeous palm tree etched in dichroic glass.

It just makes me wish I was somewhere warm, where the green grass wasn’t covered by the slightist whisper of snow.
